Description
I decided I wanted to try and make something similar to 'Green-deer Stag' ([link]) but by making it traditionally and first I made 'Violet Deer' ([link]) and was quite pleased with the result.
However I decided I would try and see it I could make it more angular. My mum suggested using glue to resist the watercolour so that is what I did, unfortunately this means you can still see the pencil outline.
Do you like it the Violet Deer better?
Better angular or rounded?
Do you mind still being able to see the pencil?
Any ideas how else I could have achieved an angular effect?

The outlining gives it a white-hot molten effect. Being that it is a fire stallion that would be highly appropriate!
Overall I like this piece, the colours are great and I like the movement in the hind legs! You have a unique style and it reminds me slightly of stained glass windows!
